Hoops 4 HOPE LA Charity Event
CMM clients were proud to be part of the Hoops 4 HOPE LA celebrity basketball game.
The foundation was started by former NBA player Juaquin Hawkins. Hoops 4 HOPE LA foundation is dedicated after school programming, youth basketball programming, mentoring and HOPE;
Helping Others Promote Empowerment. To learn more please visit official website Hoops 4 HOPE LA Official website
The celebrity basketball game was at the famous Staple Center. So many celebrities came out for the event. The kids were so happy and it was a great turn out for charity. Christian Keyes sang the national anthem...that boy can saanngg! I got a chance to meet Juaquin Hawkins, in my opinion he is such a humble guy with a good heart. You can tell this charity is near and dear to his heart. He has such an amazing story, I shared with him that I have a history of stokes in my family. Please visit the website to read it at Juaquin Hawkins Story. I believe in giving back to the community, so when I found out about this charity event I wanted to get involved. I told my clients and they wanted to get involved. I want to give a special shout out to the following for taking time out of their busy schedules: Rashad McCant, Dennis LA White, Kahlil Kain, DJ Eque, Christian Keyes, Mechelle Epps, Ky Ziegler, Dre Bowie, Tyrone Burton and all the other celebrities that came.
I also want to thank; Cheryl Lawson, Juaquin Hawkins and Mary Elizabeth Yoder for giving back.

D.Woods on MO'NIQUE SHOW
D.Woods will be talking about life after "MTV, Making the Band" and "Danity Kane". "I had to suck it up and bow out gracefully", she explained. So that's kind of how I dealt with it. And my mother, set a wonderful example. I am glad that I had a great teacher, she was proud of how I handled it.
She said what she learned from the experience was watching Diddy mold Danity Kane into a chart-topping success. "Diddy is an incredible business mind, great marketing and a visionary, I took a lot of those things for myself and of course I'm re-mixing them". Today she has her own Record Label, "Woodgrane Entertainment", "and guess who the first artist is? me of course". She also said "instead of being depressed or down on myself or unproductive, I got in my studio and did what I do. That's been my therapy". D, is reading scripts, has a film releasing later this year, with Tri Destined Studios "We Are Family", starring Monique Coleman (High School Musical), Christian Keyes (Madea Plays & Perfect Combination), Omarosa (The Apprentice), Chyna Layne (Precious) and introducing Karlie Lewis. Keep an eye out on Miss D.Woods, she is definitely stepping out of the "Gray Area"

We Are The World Remake 2010
Here’s the 25th Anniversary “We Are The World” Haiti benefit song/video. This was written/produced again by Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie. Featuring pretty much everyone who’s been on the celebrity scene these past few years. I hope everyone took the time out to donate something, whether it be big or small...it all adds up. I love this video!

Oprah presents "THE COLOR PURPLE"
February 10, 2010, Dj Eque and I went to the Grand Opening of
THE COLOR PURPLE in Los Angeles, CA. The COLOR PURPLE is a soul-stirring musical based on the classic Pulitzer Prize –winning novel by Alice Walker and the film by Steven Spielberg. Fantasia gives a moving performance, the girl and ACT and SING! I also enjoyed actress, Felicia P. Fields who played "Sophia" she was amazing and funny. One of the highlights of my evening was being able to meet with one of my favorite R&B singers, Chaka Khan. Who is a lovely beautiful woman. The Pantages was filled with celebrities such as Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Monique Coleman, Della Resse, Bishop Nole Jones, Robi Reed, Tasha Smith, Tisha Campbell, Elise Neal, Keith Robinson, Shanice, Clifton Powel, Kim Whitley, Sheryl Lee, Erica Hubbard and Naturi Naughton.
